To help our efforts to reduce food waste even more, we are delighted to announce we have received Awards for All funding to deliver our “Soup Dragon” project. As a Fareshare partner, we have already distributed over 5.5 tonnes of perfectly good food locally that would otherwise go to waste; but there’s still more we can do.

We want to establish a network of “Soup Dragons” across the borough, volunteer cooks who will support and train individuals and families to cook, make shopping budgets go further, eat healthy for less, use up leftovers and reduce food waste in the home.
